LEAN Construction

The ENCORD Lean working group focuses on the advancements of Lean Construction methodologies, practices and the application of cutting edge tools to reduce wastes in the resource-intense construction process.

Topics of the working group are the “Lean planning process” in general, how to “Reverse Hierarchy”, who could serve as a “Change agents” and what the “Next steps” are after starting a lean approach within a company, including questions like Lean tendering and design, starting a value-based lean supply chain, Lean planning on large building projects, training leaders to be / support / endorse lean, overcoming resistance of individuals, implementing lean in changing environments and conditions wand also capturing a lean planning approach in tools.
